A short journey down the River Lathkill, Derbyshire, UK.

One of the shortest rivers in England at only 10.5 kms long it is said to be one of the the cleanest rivers too. The River Lathkill rises near the top of Lathkill Dale but for most of the year the first few hundred metres are dry. It flows along natural channels and through early industrial interventions, combining with the River Bradford at Alport and finally joining the River Wye further downstream.
